50 days. 4 countries. 9000 km. One important mission.
This month adventurer, conservationist, humanitarian Carla Geiser will lead an all-women South African expedition on a conservation mission to raise awareness about human-wildlife conflict. It’s a sensitive issue and one of the main threats to the continued survival of many species in Africa. It’s also a significant threat to local communities who live in close proximity to wildlife. It’s crucial to educate these communities as their support is essential for conservation efforts.
This is what Journeys with Purpose: Rise of the Matriarch expedition will set out to achieve when they travel across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe – as well as women empowerment and fundraising for elephant conservation charities. Help us support it here!
